Cook & Son Baseball Bats

My father and I made the first Cook & Son baseball bat in my dad's home workshop during the spring of 1993. I was inspired by the story of Roy Hobbs, "The Natural," and his bat, "Wonderboy." We named our first bat the "Linedrive." And it hit pretty good.

After college and law school, I purchased a lathe of my own and I continue to make baseball bats under the name "Cook & Son." I've made this webpage to share my bats and the bat making process with others. I am not - yet - a professional bat maker. But I enjoy the craft and I hope you enjoy this page.
